- Wadi Dawkah – Desert Camping in Salalah Tour End
On the next day of our Desert Camping Tour, wake up to the peaceful silence of the Empty Quarter Desert.
Start your day with an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. Enjoy your breakfast, then leave the desert camp with memories to last a lifetime.
Next, we head to Wadi Dawkah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and renowned Frankincense Trees Reserve, home to over 5,000 ancient frankincense trees. Wind your wits around the narrative of frankincense- the resin referred to as the ‘gold of Oman. Feel the breeze and breathe pure air in your lungs. Touch the ancient trees and smell your ancestors’ odor as you move through the trails.
Our next stop is a traditional camel farm to bear witness to centuries-old Omani craftsmanship. After this camel farm visit, we will head back to your hotel in Salalah.
After today’s experience with nature and history, we hope to recover some of the unforgettable moments we shared.
